   Ø A visual change inconsistency, in which it exfoliates, becomes more mucous        and liquid, lumps form inside,

   Ø A modified shade that looks uneven,

   Ø If the package is soft, then when the product deteriorates, it can change -            for example, swell,

   Ø An unpleasant odor develops. Sometimes it is just the appearance of some        smell that was not there before.

Besides, application difficulties indicate that the eyeshadow has expired. Shadows are poorly shaded, little pigment lays down, and the shade appears inaccurate and unnatural. The shelf life of the product in hermetic packaging is up to 3 years. 

     After opening, the maximum possible shelf life is about 18 months. At the same time, compact shadows can be stored for the longest time - but a similar liquid-based product retains its original properties a little less, about one year.
